Just when we were in high spirits with the vacation week, we sped through this greenery. This was shot in the pathways of Sheraton Hotel, where we donned Spyra Jewelry with its beautiful neon colors and sparking earrings against the background of this resort. That day, as we remember it was camera-loving! When everything around you seems to fall in place in seconds, it's a blessing. We couldn't feel more in skin with the environment and the accessories!

Snippets

Since a few days I've been in a colossal mess. Handling college and work. Projects and studies. Reading and shooting. And then fading into deep tired sleep. At times like these when I am so tired and when coming home from work/tiring day and I happen to go for an outing for the night I certainly don't have any energy left in me , to prep myself up entirely or dress extraordinarily. In any case, it doesn't mean you can't dress well!
So yes, when I'm in a complete hurry or in a super hassle I put on my skirt or simple to-go dresses that don't need much time to attend to as well as it leaves me comfortable throughout the evening. Also, I certainly don't want those heels torturing me since I am more of a flats and ballet person, I'd choose them any day!
Down below is a picture of my sister (Namrata Jham), I helped her get dressed for the evening and I couldn't resist myself from clicking a picture of hers and putting it up here because it's so colorful and comfortable.

OUTFIT DETAILS :

For Namrata : She wore a plain floral dress, with red pumps paired with a green blazer. Some people get really conscious of their arms including my sister and I but that doesn't stop us from actually wearing or trying out dresses. Since, she was getting dressed in a jiffy she quickly paired this dress with a blazer giving it a subtle edge with a black frill clutch.

For me : I wore a plain red dress that clings to the centre of my waist area giving it some shape, and paired it with golden flats which I wore in this post here , since the dress was too plain I also sported a golden chained necklace by adding some gold accents to it and also a  quick basic make-up of kohl and pinkish lipstick.

SPYRA Store Launch

A normal usual college day turned out to be an awe-filled day with the launch of the SPYRA store. “Expect The Unexpected” and that is exactly what happened here. On entering the store before I could grasp the elegant décor work I couldn’t help but sway my eyes around the glittering jewelry and colorful ethnicity clothing at the store. Apart from the endearing place the collection launched at the store is their newest collection. The much spoken about SPYRA brand has finally launched its store where now one can easily walk in and pick out their desired piece of jewelry. When you twirl around you see splashes of pretty colors with co-ordinated jewelry pieces.

The good news being that SPYRA is in collaboration with SuviArya (a clothing line). What’s so special about this? It isn’t just a normal store with clothes and jewelry, the word ‘collaboration’ is taken into literal meaning and is visibly seen in their work. They basically collaborate SPYRA’s jewelry with SuviArya’s clothing and transform it into solely an immaculate individual piece. Brilliant isn’t it? Apart from this, one can also browse through their individual collections and pick one’s choice.

The beauty of this event being that SuviArya’s and SPYRA’s designers will be at the store all the time helping their customers make their choice that perfectly suits them and in some cases custom-make certain pieces too!  Even if you walk in confused into this store , you would surely go out with something you’re happy to possess. 

Also they were refreshments of cute cupcake settings and an array of assorted snacks.

Understated

Between college projects,workshops and campaigns I finally get a few hours off and hence this outfit shoot. Regarding college, it has been a kickass start meeting and interacting with people from different cultures, learning and then learning some more. I was hoping to do this outfit shoot on my terrace with the mesmerizing and windy Bombay weather but some things don't go as planned and I thought why not an indoor shoot? So here goes my first indoor shoot. 

                                                                       OUTFIT DETAILS

Recently my sister purchased this bag from Princess K brand and she got it custom made to her likable size and trust me it's a boon! Maybe sometime you can purchase and make a bag with your preferred choice of size (small tip) because now anything and everything can fit into this beauty. Also a thumbs up for the color combination of this bag.Because this shirt is sheer full sleeve I've worn the metallic accessories on top of it giving it a twist of color with an electric blue ring. I've also paired a blazer with this outfit to a get feel towards a more formal look for presentations in college. It's simple, comfortable and easy to carry off.Honestly, this is the way I like to prep up for college considering the fact I barely get any time in the mornings to dress up and plus the tedious long train journey. It's being in ease with my outfit that keeps my mind at ease all day. 

Just an all in all simple clean look.

Simplicity

Earrings- Aldo

I've always been a lover of delicate, simple and sober things.

Yes, that's true.

If I had a choice between bling and a classic crisp white shirt and jeans, I'd pick the white shirt!

No, my eyes will never search for something colorful, will never search for something jazzed up or something with sequins, it'll look around the color-ladden room and finally it'll always lay its eyes upon something that is simple.

I believe in simple old classics, something that I can remove right out of my closet years after and still look at it and say "Hey, this still seems perfect for the occasion!"

And this is exactly what happened at this shoot, a seemingly old dress that has been in my closet for over three years and I remove it and smile that I-know-what-to-do-now-smile, perfectto. 

These are one of the favorite earrings that I posses, they're Indian but this time I paired them up with a simple plain baby pink dress.

A fusion you could say, but still it's delicate with it's beautiful intricate work.

Tip : Plain dresses in various colors prove to be handy because these can be used very well during a crisis situation, Oh yes, because they're nothing over-the-top, you could go mellow with the accessories or just jazz it up, your way works the best!

Sometimes it's just fine not to bother about the on-going trend alerts, about the must-haves in your closet, about the perfect needed shoes or that in-style dress. Dare Some Color?

Needless to say this month has been a month filled with the most mixed feelings ever. Happiness, Contemplation, Apprehensions and back to Happiness. Yes! Back to happiness because I am so very glad over my board results and even though you've heard this quite everywhere, I'll say it again that Hardwork and Success go hand in hand.
A pretty boring evening and suddenly I see this top lying around on my ledge since two days. (I'm really messy like that) , I keep staring at this neon-ic orange top that I had recently worn at Imran Khan's brand launch event and I start thinking how I could style or put this up differently. And Voila!
Here I find myself feeling colorful all over again.
Isn't it weird that you find inspiration at the most unexpected time?
And in less than half an hour I decide to do this outfit post. So here actually goes my unplanned outfit post.

                                                           OUFIT DETAILS 
As I am wearing some bright solid colors here , I decide to go mellow with my accessory and I just end up wearing a watch and a kada with a delicate chain on my neck.
If so you know this is my first ever time that I am trying out something so colorful as I always like to keep the color coordination in my outfits clean and precise. But then what's the fun without any experimentation? Ive got to take it one step further right?
