The New York Fashion Week just ended, London Fashion week will begin soon , Wills Lifestyle Fashion Week is going on and Lakme Fashion Week is just around the corner. Whoa! Its like there's this Fashion Week spree happening and I'm loving it to bits. My entire timeline on twitter is just buzzing with updates of fashion week and it intrigues me so amazingly.
I don't know why but my eyes are totally having a fixation for these maxis. They're beautifully done and so chic.

The maxis in his collection are just so fabulous. There's floral fantasy and then there's this splash of  boldness of red , then comes the glittery nude.I'm totally head over heels with his collection.

Best Dressed for Grammy Awards

Well, there have been some great looks for the Grammy Awards'12 but that one gown that was personally my favorite was Katy Perry's. (Ignoring the blue hairstyle). The outfit was beautifully designed by Elie Saab.

This designer is my recent favorite because i absolutely love his Spring-Summer'12 collection. Very dreamy, very formal and very elegant. He uses rich fabrics like lace, pearls and elegant detailing  making it look like an Elie Saab owned piece.

Finally my laptop arrives and the first thing I think about is to share the amazing VogueSchoolOfStyle tips. Just to make things more precise the audience was very fashionable and Priyanka Kapadia and Priyanka Khanna held the session amazingly in a chic style.
5 GOLDEN RULES
Know your identity
The session clearly stated that knowing your own identity and style is very important to actually portray a style. So if you like it loud, understated, bling, muted tones then go for it because that defines you and trust me you would be the only one carrying off that style with elan.

Shop in your closet
Okay so this has been a problem with me as well, there have been so many times when I've just opened my wardrobe , dug in and actually found clothes that I haven't even worn.
So that's what it means, think of pieces you've never worn
Never throw out anything away because that particular trend could always come back, its like a fashion cycle.
Also, vintage is a huge trend, so the older it is the more classy it could turn out to be and as the saying goes OLD IS GOLD.

Learn what works for you
Ladies whenever you leave home just do a little twirl around the mirror and see yourself and your back. No one would want that little bra strap hanging out or seeing the skin in different layers because of the foundation not put well.
If that top makes you look busty then go in for V neck because it is very essential not to blindly follow trends.

Think long term
It is very important to have some wardrobe essentials. That one piece which you can rely on and it would never let you down. When shopping stick to your budget and have a strategic buying style.

Shop smart
Its very important to shop smart in sales. Sales could be that one event that could drive you crazy and why not every amazing piece is cheaper and looks worth it but wait a minute do u actually need that! That is the question you need to ask yourself.
Be innovative with your wardrobe , take that same white shirt and wear it and put it up in different ways.

Get a handy tailor
Sometimes even the best brands may actually not fit you well. They may give you the comfort but at some places it just wouldn't go well with your body. No worries. All you need to do is get a handy tailor who could nip and tuck at the right places and make the purchase worth it.

Golden Globe's Favorites

Well i was pretty curious and checked up on the latest Golden Globe's award function and i was actually surprised to see some really subtle, dashing and edgy designs , here are some of my favorites :)

Well i certainly love what Natalie Portman is wearing. Just being a bit partial because pink is my favorite color and also the silk detailing happening on the side is interesting. She also keeps it fresh and crisp.

I think this is one of my favorites because its something different and vague and also the infusion of two colors is well put together and she carries it off with such grace and the right amount of attitude for this color. Definitely a winner.

Sometimes when we dress up , we somehow always tend to give more importance to our clothes and shoes. That's very natural because it happens with most of us. But somehow in all this chaos we don't realize that we are underestimating the power of an accessory.
Well that thing could be a small one or something big but when worn with the right balance of colors then it can make you stand out beautifully.

Some tips while picking accessories.
1. Make sure the accessory you choose is durable and its good when quality concerned because if certain pieces last you long then you carry on wearing them for years with different styles.
2. Sometimes pick up evergreen pieces which would never go out of style and are elegant enough.
3. You could always ask information about the beads or stones concerning the product. You have every right to know if its really durable or just some cheap piece. Pick up few but worthy ones.
4. Pick up some colorful accessories too because you could pair them with muted tones and make it look appealing and then the actual piece itself stands out.
5. Finally, never underestimate its power because it can always add an 'Oomph' in  your outfit other than your shoes or clothes.

So sometimes its completely fine to indulge in your accessory shopping because it always diversifies your look and keeps it funky.

Alice Temperley's Creations

Hello Lovelies,
After the creation of the Kate Middleton's ( Duchess of Cambrige) gown , i looked up on Alice Temperley's creations out of curiosity and fell in love with it.
She is a British designer and she very well incorporates a sophisticated style with bold colors with a vintage feel. Not a great lover of vintage clothing but this style certainly doesn't miss my eye.

Well, belated happy birthday to the Duchess of Cambridge!
Recently, Kate Middleton appeared at the Leicester Square premiere of Steven Spielberg’s War Horse. She wore stunning black floor-length gown with a plunging neckline which was designed by a Pippa Middleton favorite, Alice Temperley. .
Well, when i saw this picture uploaded, no sooner i fell in love with it.
My love for lace is never-ending and this outfit incorporates the lace in a gown style so fabulously!
She paired it with a pretty Ballerina Velvet Clutch.
Her hair was let down with soft curls that compliment her skin so well.
Well that sure is classy and inspiring.

Fashion Amore tip : Try to use lace for formal evenings because it is a delicate garment and needs to be taken care of and always keep the look natural when worn.

Winter Love

Hello lovelies,
In Bombay its been awfully cold and i am thoroughly enjoying it. The pleasant weather and warm sun is definitely getting to me. Most of the time Ive been sitting in my jammies and relishing on cookies and cream and enjoying every bit of it. But oh boy, how i love sometimes to dress up in this weather to keep myself warm.
This weather is the perfect balance of pleasant wind combined with a warm sun, so i don't have to overdo it , I just dress the minimal and keep myself cozy and comfortable.
How have you girls been keeping up?
Some winter tips :
1.Winter or coming spring , just go with the flow and keep it simple with bold colors and contrast.
2. Don't play with too many colors as this weather depicts ease and comfort, opt for pastels,greys and black.
3. Apply kajal , tons of it because it accentuates your eyes amazingly.
4.However add a dash of color with your bags and accessorizes
5. Let your hair down, it looks beautiful that way :)
6.Legwarmers and cardigans could help really well.
And ofcourse don't forget to visit the sales happening in Mango , ZARA, Veromoda and Only. The autumn winter collection is out there.
Have the most coziest winter ever and some sinful self-indulgence would really help too to help you ease out a bit and enjoy this climate.

Black is Eternal

Fashion is one thing that has never remained constant. It has evolved with the coming of seasons, years and centuries. Some critics have flawed an individual's style or some have praised their sense of style.
Actually what is style? It is so very easy to go out there and follow the trends and play safe but to make a statement? well, now that's quite a challenge.

One which has always remained in style is CLASSIC style and the color that accompanies is BLACK. It is one of my favorite colors and i think of it as something absolutely stunning. One can never go wrong with it, its not about playing safe but its actually about carrying such an enduring color with class.

 And one of my favorite actress sporting the color BLACK so well is Audrey Hepburn. She was elegant, She was style and She was classic. She was the perfect combination of something so beautifully elegant yet something so amazingly smashing.
